Prototype mock-up

Cutting Edge Creations Website Prototype

Independent unfinished prototypes for Cutting Edge Creations (separate from Magic Jump employment work): a commercial for-sale website concept plus a public-evidence Company X-Ray showing what must be fixed before paid media.

What I built

This page documents independent prototypes I built around Cutting Edge Creations, a commercial-grade inflatables manufacturer selling to rental operators, venues, and advertising buyers. Cutting Edge is related to Magic Jump people but is a separate entity—keep that straight. Magic Jump employment work has its own case study; this page is not that job.

Their public storefront can browse and contact—but the growth path I cared about was sales-assisted quote capture for fleet buyers, not a local party-rental vibe.

I built two related artifacts as proposal / interview-style prototypes while waiting to see whether a role materializes—without claiming I already work there. First, a brand-matched marketing website with commercial category landers, starter packages, and structured Request a Quote / Talk to Sales paths. Second, a Company X-Ray cockpit that documents public-site findings (quote journey, $0 catalog rows, clone handles, SEO stubs, measurement gaps) with confidence labels.

Neither is affiliated with Cutting Edge Creations, Inflatable Works, Magic Jump, or related parties. Both are independent proposal / mock-up work for portfolio demonstration—not a paid media case study for this brand, and not an employment claim.

Problem I was trying to solve

The Cutting Edge Creations public storefront was not ready for meaningful paid campaigns. Ads into a weak quote path and messy catalog would burn budget and hurt trust—so the work starts with diagnosis and a stabler site shape, not “more traffic.”

  • Request a Quote page without a dedicated quote form—contact exists, structured quote capture does not
  • Large share of $0.00 product prices in the public product feed (catalog trust problem)
  • Dozens of clone-handle product URLs that look like import leftovers
  • Homepage title / meta that were basically brand-only stubs—weak landing-page baseline for PPC
  • No clear GA4 / Meta measurement footprint in public HTML
  • Homepage and IA that could read as consumer/rental instead of commercial for-sale intent

Strategy and approach

  • Lead with commercial / for-sale messaging aimed at rental fleets and venues—not local party rental
  • Category landers for bounce houses, water slides, obstacle courses, and wholesale
  • Structured Request a Quote and Talk to Sales paths as primary conversion actions
  • Curated starter packages instead of syncing broken $0 / clone catalog entries into the marketing scaffold
  • Parse Keyword Planner exports into commercial clusters to guide IA and soft-launch PPC messaging
  • Company X-Ray audit of quote path, catalog hygiene, SEO stubs, measurement, and ads readiness (public evidence only, noindex)

What I was trying to accomplish

The strategy for Cutting Edge Creations was stabilize first, then market: repair quote capture and catalog trust, install measurement, then use commercial landers for a tightly scoped pilot—not broad spend into a messy storefront.

  • Make the blockers visible in one place (X-Ray) before anyone argues about ad budget
  • Show the intended Cutting Edge marketing-site shape with real category and quote paths
  • Separate “fix the storefront” from “turn on paid media” so the sequence stays honest
  • Give a concrete proposal artifact without inventing performance wins

What it does not do

It does not claim paid results, rankings, or revenue for Cutting Edge Creations. Quote forms are not wired to a live CRM unless separately approved. The X-Ray uses public evidence only. Imagery on the marketing scaffold was mirrored from the public storefront for the concept only.

Important framing

Independent prototypes for portfolio demonstration. Private relationship hypotheses and draft emails stay offline and were never sent as part of this page.

Current status

Unfinished independent proposal / prototype about Cutting Edge Creations’ public footprint—separate from Magic Jump, no employment claim. The marketing preview and X-Ray are far enough along to show the issues, the strategy, and the intended site shape—not a finished production build or paid case study.
